Description:
Versant Media is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its digital ventures, primarily focusing on the BRS Golf and GolfNow businesses, with additional exposure to Fandango. Based in Belfast under a hybrid working model, this role is ideal for newly qualified solicitors or those with up to three years of post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, advise on regulatory compliance (including data protection and privacy), and support international business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including strategic partnerships, vendor agreements, and software licensing (SaaS).
- Advise internal clients on legal issues pertaining to digital platforms across international territories.
- Provide legal guidance on marketing, advertising, promotions, and website terms and conditions.
- Assess legal implications of emerging technology products and ensure compliance with local laws.
