This is a full-time, on-site role for a Service Workshop Engineer based in Burton Latimer. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of vehicle-mounted access platforms. Key tasks include diagnostic assessments, mechanical and electrical repairs, ensuring platform safety and compliance, and preparing equipment for operations. The role also involves maintaining workshop efficiency and adhering to company and industry standards.
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair of heavy equipment and vehicle-mounted machinery
- Experience working in Workshop environments with technical understanding of access platforms or similar equipment
- Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and relay technical information effectively
- Ability to provide or participate in Training sessions for proper equipment use and best practices
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and quality
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, mechanics, or a related technical discipline
- Previous experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems is preferred
