WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Stock Controller will join our team reporting to the Store Manager. You will check incoming and outgoing goods, manage the inventory and needs of the boutique stockroom.

  • Set the example of operation excellence by following policies & procedures, while elevating the standards through usage of the proper tools & equipment.
  • Responsible for a clean and organized maintenance of all inventories in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
  • Support the sales team with several tasks such as running sizes, assisting at the cash register, advising on size and stock availability and other support related tasks.
  • Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication and teamwork when interacting with coworkers, clients and management.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure that all sizes and styles are represented accurately.
  • Communicate product stock level and product quality issues to the Management team when necessary to avoid shrink.
  • Perform all shipping/receiving tasks in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner: check the goods by verifying the quantity and quality of the packages.
  • Prepare accompanying documentation for uniforms etc. upon authorization from the Management team.
  • Comply with all company fire, health, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor all store supply levels such as packaging, beverages, office supplies, etc. and communicate order needs in a timely manner to management.
  • Prepare, organize and participate in inventories and analysis of results.

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

  • Previous experience of at least 2 years in a stock position, preferably in the retail environment.
  • Very organized, rigorous and reliable.
  • Computer skills to include operation of retail point of sale system, Word, Excel and email.
