The Role
An established regional contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to play a key role within its growing Pre-Construction team. You will lead tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, working closely with directors, operational teams and key clients across a broad portfolio of projects.
Responsibilities
- Leading competitive tender submissions
- Managing multiple tenders simultaneously
- Reviewing specifications, drawings and contract information
- Producing detailed cost plans and estimates
- Managing subcontractor enquiry processes
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors
- Identifying project risks and value engineering opportunities
- Preparing tender adjudications and presentations
- Supporting framework and negotiated opportunities
- Working closely with operational and commercial teams
- Building relationships with clients and consultants
- Assisting with strategic bid planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Estimator or Estimator
- Main contractor construction experience essential
- Experience across refurbishment, fit out and new build projects
- Strong commercial acumen
