An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing regional contractor delivering high-quality social housing and residential developments across South Wales and the South West. Working on new build affordable housing schemes, you'll take full responsibility for managing projects safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, ensuring programmes are delivered on time and within budget.

The Role

  • Managing day-to-day site operations from start through to completion.
  • Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to budget.
  • Maintaining exceptional quality standards throughout construction.
  • Managing client, consultant and housing association relationships.
  • Chairing site meetings and reporting on project progress.
  • Producing short-term programmes and monitoring progress.
  • Ensuring materials, labour and plant are effectively managed.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting.
  • Managing health & safety and ensuring full compliance.
  • Coordinating inspections, snagging and handovers.
  • Driving a positive, collaborative culture on site.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering residential or social housing projects.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from groundworks through to handover.
  • Strong knowledge of modern construction methods and NHBC standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A proactive approach with a strong focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
