A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong pipeline of secured work across South Wales. This is a permanent role within a profitable, privately owned business delivering infrastructure, roads & sewers (S278 / S38), bulk earthworks and groundworks packages for residential and commercial developments.
The Role
- Full commercial responsibility for multiple projects
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Interim valuations and applications for payment
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Variations and change control
- Final accounts
- Liaising with site teams and clients
Requirements
- Proven Quantity Surveyor experience within civils or groundworks
- Strong knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Experience managing projects from start to final account
- Commercially astute and confident managing costs independently
