Established brickwork contractor seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across Bristol, South Wales and nationwide. Responsible for labour, materials, quality, commercial liaison and successful project delivery for leading Tier 1 contractor clients.

An established brickwork contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects across Bristol, South Wales and further afield. Working closely with site teams, clients and commercial departments, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple brickwork projects simultaneously
  • Supervising and coordinating bricklaying gangs and labour resources
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and project requirements
  • Managing labour allocation and site productivity
  • Procuring and coordinating materials in line with programme requirements
  • Monitoring quality standards and maintaining QA records
  • Liaising with Quantity Surveyors regarding valuations and variations
  • Managing contract changes and project risks
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements
  • Building strong relationships with clients, site teams and supply chain partners

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within the brickwork or masonry sector
  • Strong understanding of brickwork package delivery
  • Experience managing labour, materials and programme requirements
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
