A successful executive recruitment business operating across a range of established and emerging sectors, Verrus has a proven track record for proactively delivering game-changing senior professionals to a predominantly international client base that ranges from rapid growth start-ups to established corporations.

A crucial component of our continued and ongoing success, the research and delivery team here at Verrus underpin the work of 360 recruiters through identifying, mapping, and engaging top-tier talent for senior-level roles.

Conducting in-depth market mapping, creating target company lists, analysing competitor structures, and building dossiers on potential candidates, our research function is particularly potent in the identification of passive candidates who might not be actively applying for jobs but are nonetheless open to hearing about the best new career opportunities in their sectors.

  • Performing detailed candidate searches across LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS and employment websites to create applicant longlists for screening outreach in conjunction with 360 consultants.
  • Managing and prioritising workflow with quality control criteria including projected fees, time constraints, level of decision maker, exclusivity levels and/or client history.
  • Identifying premium mid-market to executive level talent within current specialist verticals and target sectors who are open to considering an employment move.
  • Working with 360 consultants to generate market intelligence and competitor matrices for the proactive marketing of candidates to prospective employers.
  • Identifying key decision makers and target stakeholders within prospect clients, including relevant accurate and compliant contact data.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A good level of educational attainment (A-Level minimum, degree preferred).
  • Self-motivation, drive, ambition, and resourcefulness.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages an advantage).
  • Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, research, and analytical abilities.
  • Strong familiarity with LinkedIn and Microsoft 365.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise across multiple concurrent campaigns.

What’s In It For You:

  • A highly competitive basic salary.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • A transparent and collaborative team culture underpinned by our core values of trust and integrity.
  • A comprehensive onboarding process with ongoing training, development, and support.
  • Clear opportunities to progress through the business as we continue to grow.
  • A fabulous working environment in one of Leeds City Centre’s landmark office buildings.
  • A rapid selection and assessment process.
  • Access to cutting edge tools, resources, technology, AI, and software platforms.
  • Team social events, incentive-based trips, executive club overseas weekends away.
  • (Qualifying) enrolment within GymFlex health & fitness incentive.

We want to hear from people who are seeking a long-term career rather than just a job. The successful candidate can realistically aspire to progressing through our talent pathway into a 360-consultant role, in-house talent acquisition, or a leadership capacity within research and/or operations as we continue to expand.
