Job Description
We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a London-based FINTECH organisation providing innovative software solutions and cloud-hosted services to banks and financial services firms worldwide.
We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales professional to join their Client Solutions team, focusing on promoting enterprise-level products to financial services organisations, with a particular focus on the US market.
This is a key role in supporting growth through lead generation and pipeline development, engaging senior stakeholders, and progressing opportunities through to discovery calls and solution demonstrations. Working predominantly in the US time zone, you'll be part of a collaborative sales team but with the autonomy to manage your own prospects and deliver results.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and map contacts within target firms, generating leads and uncovering new opportunities.
- Be the first point of contact for prospects, building relationships through calls, social media, and email outreach.
- Secure discovery calls and coordinate solution demonstrations with product specialists.
- Communicate solution benefits in a clear, professional, and consultative manner to senior executives.
- Maintain regular follow-ups to progress prospects through the pipeline and nurture long sales cycles.
- ·Manage internal actions, working closely with colleagues and product experts to advance opportunities.
- Stay on top of all target firms and ensure consistent, effective communication across the sales cycle.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales experience, ideally within financial services or enterprise software solutions.
- Strong track record of generating and nurturing leads, with experience managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Confident in engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders, both remotely and in person.
- Professional, resilient, and commercially minded with the ability to build relationships and maintain momentum through early rejections.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, able to prioritise effectively and work independently once trained on solution propositions.
- Degree-level education (or equivalent) is preferable.
