We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a well-established award-winning food supplier in the North Cambridgeshire area. Ready to take the lead in growing a thriving, long-established business? We are looking for a driven, confident sales professional who loves building relationships, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into long-term customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Identifying and winning new customers
  • Developing key accounts across the food grocery, wholesale and retail sectors
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
  • Visiting customers regularly to build trust and long-term partnerships
  • Processing orders and keeping systems up to date
  • Providing weekly activity updates to the Sales Manager
  • Keeping an eye on customer needs and market opportunities
  • Representing the business with professionalism and enthusiasm

Who we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development or account management
  • Experience in the food or FMCG sector
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to manage your own diary and work independently
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and basic systems
  • Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle

On offer:

  • £34,000 starting salary plus bonus
  • Working Hours: 8.30am-5.00pm Monday to Friday
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
