About the opportunity:
OWGP (Offshore Wind Growth Partnership) is expanding as it becomes the Industrial Growth Plan (IGP) Delivery Body — and we’re looking for a Head of Programme Delivery on an initial 12 month FTC, who’s ready to play a key part in shaping the future of the UK offshore wind supply chain. This is a senior leadership role with real influence — shaping strategy, delivering multi-million-pound programmes, and leading a growing, high-performing team. You’ll take ownership of OWGP’s programme portfolio — designing, delivering and continuously improving initiatives that strengthen the UK supply chain and enhance global competitiveness. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, working closely with senior stakeholders, industry partners, and the OWGP Board.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading the design and delivery of OWGP’s work programme
- Overseeing end-to-end programme delivery, governance, and performance
- Managing and growing a high-performing delivery team
- Driving continuous improvement, KPIs, and impact evaluation
- Taking ownership of budget oversight
- Representing OWGP at senior industry forums and external events
- Building strong relationships across government, industry and supply chain partners
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience leading complex programmes in multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong understanding of UK renewables sector (Ideally offshore wind) / industrial strategy / supply chain development
- Track record of delivering measurable impact and scaling programmes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience with funding programmes, grants, or innovation initiatives
