We are working with a fast‑growing, FX and international payments business, working with UK and international corporates to manage currency risk, move money globally, and protect commercial margins. They are now entering an exciting new phase of scale, investing heavily in technology, data, compliance and operational excellence. To support this growth, we’re looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to take full ownership of our marketing strategy and function. This is a practical hands‑on role suitable for a senior, commercially driven leadership role for someone who wants real accountability, influence and impact.
As Head of Marketing, you’ll set and own the end‑to‑end marketing strategy, translating commercial priorities and customer insight into measurable pipeline growth, revenue impact and long‑term brand value. Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, you’ll work closely with Sales, Compliance and Senior Management to ensure marketing activity genuinely supports how the business wins and retains clients. This is far more than just a brand only or awareness‑only role. It’s about results, conversion and ROI, supported by strong positioning and clear messaging. You’ll combine big picture thinking with hands on delivery, supported by a Marketing Assistant and external agency partners while embedding best‑practice processes that scale.
In particular, you will:
- Own and deliver the end‑to‑end marketing strategy aligned to commercial growth goals.
- Drive measurable pipeline, revenue impact and ROI across all marketing activity.
- Lead market positioning, value proposition and messaging to support conversion and retention.
- Align closely with sales and partnerships to improve lead quality, conversion and referral growth.
- Own partnership and introducer led marketing to increase high quality inbound opportunities.
- Lead the external brand, digital presence and sales collateral with a strong commercial focus.
- Ensure all marketing activity is compliant with FCA standards and internal governance.
- Manage the marketing budget, priorities, reporting and performance framework.
- Lead and develop the marketing function, including internal resource and external agencies.
Experience in B2B services marketing, operating at senior management level or head of function level. Experience working in a regulated or highly governed environment. Confidence owning budgets, ROI and resource management. Experience within financial services, FX, payments or professional services. Experience supporting partnership or introducer‑led models. Experience leading or mentoring junior marketers.
Why you will love working here:
- Work directly with an ambitious CEO and senior leadership team.
- Shape the marketing function during a critical growth phase.
- Enjoy real ownership, trust and influence.
- Be part of a culture built on performance, accountability and doing the right thing.
In return we are offering:
- A highly competitive salary between £70,000 - £80,000 depending on skills and experience.
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increases with service up to 25 days).
- Extra day of annual leave to celebrate your birthday.
- Subsidised gym membership.
- Season ticket loan.
- Health insurance.
- Life insurance.
Ready to lead marketing with purpose, pace and commercial impact? We’d love to hear from you.
