Bluestar Business Finance is an established and growing UK finance provider, helping businesses of all sizes access tailored funding solutions to support their ambitions and growth. We're entering an exciting new chapter, investing in our people, technology and proposition as we build a modern, forward-thinking finance brokerage. With a renewed focus on relationships, delivering exceptional service and understanding our clients' needs, we're creating a business that puts people before transactions and long-term partnerships at the heart of everything we do.

Are you an experienced commercial finance professional looking for more than just another sales role? Join us as a Business Development Manager and build recurring income from an established client base, develop lasting relationships and play a key role in shaping a growing brokerage. With established opportunities, an experienced operations team and direct access to senior leadership, you'll have the freedom to make an impact and grow with the business.

The Role

This is not a volume-calling sales position. We're looking for a consultative finance professional who understands that the best client relationships are built over years, not transactions. You'll work closely with SMEs to understand their business objectives, growth plans and funding requirements, recommending the right finance solutions from across a broad panel of lenders. Your conversations should focus as much on where a client wants to be in five years as on the funding requirement they have today.

What You'll Get

  • Access to existing clients and opportunities from day one
  • A basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum with uncapped commission
  • The opportunity to generate a strong, sustainable income stream
  • Direct access to the Managing Director with genuine influence over strategy and process
  • Support from an experienced operations and sales support team
  • The chance to help shape a growing business rather than simply fit into an existing structure
  • A culture where ideas are encouraged and good people are listened to

About You

You'll likely have experience in:

  • Commercial finance, asset finance or business lending
  • Building long-term client relationships
  • Working with SME decision makers
  • Generating business through both existing clients and new opportunities
  • Managing a sales pipeline and consistently delivering results

Most importantly, you'll be commercially minded, relationship-focused and motivated by the opportunity to create long-term value for your clients and yourself. It's an exciting time to join us and play a part in shaping the future of the business.
