About the opportunity: We are the internal recruitment partner for a leading supplier in the KBB sector, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced area sales manager ready to step up and looking for more ownership in a senior role. If you know your way around showrooms, buying groups, independent retailers, and merchant showrooms via distributors, this one’s for you This is a display-led sales role, working closely with distributor sales teams to secure new business and drive brand presence. You’ll be developing existing key accounts while focusing on winning and growing new business across the South/South East. Key Responsibilities : Drive sales through distributor partnerships – work with distribution sales teams to grow accounts. Secure new showroom displays and strengthen relationships with independent retailers and buying groups. Be in the field – expect to make 4-6 calls per day, meeting customers and helping distributors hit joint targets. Develop strategic sales plans to maximise market share and growth opportunities. Use CRM to track activity, ensuring pipeline visibility and forecasting accuracy The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: KBB, plumbing, tiles or related product experience preferred – you understand the importance of display-led sales.
