Folksworth Church of England Primary School require a hard-working, enthusiastic and friendly school cook to be responsible for all aspects of our school kitchen providing high quality meals to our children.
Working Hours: 27.5 hours per week term time (Monday – Friday 9:15am-2:45pm)
Pay: £14.13 Per Hour
Start date: 1st September 2025
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Preparation and serving of school lunches
- Plan menus and manage stock
- Cleaning the school kitchen
- Ordering supplies within an agreed budget
- Ensure that all hygiene and food safety requirements are being adhered to
The successful candidate will require:
- Have experience of working in a school setting or similar catering experience.
- Working knowledge of HACCP Health and Safety and allergen management
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Excellent hygiene and health and safety practices and knowledge of appropriate legislation
- Understanding of ordering and budgeting
- Relevant qualifications in food safety and/or catering
