We are working as the internal recruitment partner for Hotpoint, a leading global home appliance brand, currently undergoing an exciting period of growth.
We are seeking a Fleet Support Executive to join our Delivery & Installation Operations team. This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of commercial vehicles operates to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Based at one of our headquarters in Watford (Hertfordshire) or Peterborough (Cambridgeshire) or potentially at one of our UK satellite depot locations, you will work across the organisation with multiple stakeholders, ensuring fleet availability, reliability, and presentation meet the exceptional standards our brands and customers expect. You will be the go-to technical and operational support
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day fleet operations, repairs, maintenance, and preventative inspections.
- Vet supplier invoices, approve repair estimates, and ensure contractual adherence.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive cost-efficiency.
- Support operator licence compliance, OCRS scores, and MOT pass rates.
- Track and resolve preventative maintenance (PMI) anomalies.
- Develop and report on fleet KPIs and performance metrics.
- Assist with fleet audits, post-audit reporting, and MHE performance at depots.
- Attend supplier meetings and industry forums.
- Support fleet training, toolbox talks, and health & safety compliance.
- Proven experience in repair and maintenance of modern vehicles (fleet or retail).
- Knowledge of fleet legal compliance, operating costs, and best practice.
- Experience in supplier and contract management.
- Mechanical education – City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce and interpret reports.
- Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, both autonomously and within a supportive team.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
- MHE experience, CPC, or LGV licence advantageous.
- A basic salary of £45,000 + dependent on experience, plus a 5% bonus and a company car.
- Hours of work: 45 hours a week worked Monday to Friday (flexibility required)
