About the Role

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a leading fintech company revolutionising the payments landscape in the UK and Ireland, and are presenting an exciting opportunity for a Finance Coordinator to join the team.

This role is perfect for someone early in their finance career who is keen to progress, learn, and take advantage of formal study support. If you\’re studying or planning to study towards AAT or a similar financial qualification and want real hands-on experience in a fast-moving environment, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle the day-to-day finance operations, including managing the finance inbox and setting up payments
  • Perform daily and monthly bank and control account reconciliations
  • Monitor cash flow and assist in its forecasting
  • Load customer payments and new loan data into internal systems
  • Provide support with audit preparation and month-end reporting tasks
  • Work on process improvement and automation projects across the finance team
  • Assist in implementing evolving systems and processes as part of a wider business transformation
  • Currently studying or looking to begin studying towards a professional finance qualification (e.g., AAT)
  • Prior experience working in a finance department
  • Confident Excel user, including lookups and basic formulas
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
  • Eager to build a long-term career in finance and ambitious to grow
  • Organised, accurate, and able to manage your own time to meet deadlines
  • Confident when it comes to challenging information and asking questions
  • Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 depending on experience
  • Funded study support for AAT
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 with a 1-hour lunch break
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Private healthcare
