We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive/Portfolio Manager to join a growing and ambitious foreign exchange and international payments business based in Canary Wharf.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual looking to build a long-term career within financial services and corporate sales.

Whether you have experience in recruitment, B2B sales, estate agency, brokerage, professional services or another relationship-led environment, this role offers the chance to develop into a trusted adviser to corporate clients whilst earning significant rewards for your success.

As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for developing your own portfolio of corporate clients, identifying new opportunities, building lasting relationships and helping businesses manage international payments and foreign exchange requirements.

You'll receive ongoing training, support and mentorship from experienced professionals in a high-performance environment that values ambition, accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective corporate clients across a range of sectors.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
  • Engage directly with business owners, CFOs and senior decision-makers through proactive business development activity.
  • Understand clients' international trading activity, operational challenges and currency exposure.
  • Present tailored foreign exchange and international payment solutions to prospective clients.
  • Work closely with internal specialists and senior management to develop client solutions.
  • Build long-term client relationships and grow your portfolio over time.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, organisation and communication throughout the sales process.
  • Contribute positively to the culture and success of the wider team

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience within a sales, business development, recruitment, brokerage or relationship management role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
