CHAW PCN have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technicians to work within our PCN which covers practices across Chelford, Handforth, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow (CHAW) Primary Care Network covering in excess of 51,000 patients. The role will be based at Wilmslow Health Centre.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking pharmacy technician to join our PCN. The successful pharmacy technician candidate will play an important role in complementing our clinical pharmacists and other members of the PCN multi-disciplinary team. is an evolving job role with huge scope for development as we expand our PCN team further over the years. We expect the successful candidate to contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive primary care medicines management system acting on current best practice / service change requests from our clinical commissioning group. The Pharmacy Technician will be required to undertake activities predominantly at a practice level, but will need to be flexible to work to the wider demands of the network. For example, the role will involve liaising with community pharmacy teams to highlight and manage problems identified by community pharmacy, such as medicines waste. Appointments will be either face-to-face or via telephone.
The CHAW PCN consists of 5 Practices and has 51,000+ patients. We operate from 5 sites Chelford, Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Handforth and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual who shares our values and has the energy and skills to contribute to shaping how we deliver care for the future, to join the PCN as a Pharmacy Technician.
