With over 25 years of experience in logistics and distribution, our family owned Company handles all types of freight and delivery requirements. Our drivers are professionally trained to handle all logistic requirements, including ADR consignments, Moffett and Air Freight deliveries. There is no job too big or too small for our team, and every day brings something different.
With a growing workload and being awarded new contracts, we are currently seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers (Tramping) to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations nationwide in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities:- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure for transportation
- Perform routine vehicle daily walk around checks; reporting any defects
- Communicate with the Transport Office to update on delivery status
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle daily walk around checks
- A minimum of 1 year commercial driving
- Good understanding of EU and Working Time Directive Drivers Hours regulations
- Must have the “can do” attitude
- Flexible approach to work
- A good knowledge of Health & Safety standards
- Excellent customer facing and communication skills
Salary Sacrifice Pension, Group Life Assurance, On-site parking, Immediate Start Available. Newly passed drivers may be considered for this role depending on experience and all applicants must pass a driving assessment. No more than 6 points on your licence.
