Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased (Worksop)
Shift Pattern: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm (rotating shifts)

The Role
We are seeking an apprentice-trained, electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join our Worksop facility. You will provide breakdown and maintenance cover across a varied range of machinery, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns promptly.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults systematically.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure equipment is handed back in a safe condition.
- Support operator training and competence assessments.
- Identify and implement machine and process improvements to enhance productivity.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong electrical knowledge: ability to read electrical drawings, fault-find logically, and work with circuits from 415V to 24VDC.
- Experience with inverters, servo, and DC drives.
- Understanding of pneumatics and ability to read mechanical drawings.
- Previous experience in a factory environment.
- Working knowledge of injection molding machinery is essential.
Qualifications
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
