The Role: As a Production Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring our products are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. You'll be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, supporting continuous improvement activities, and helping the team achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate production equipment safely and effectively to achieve daily production targets.
  • Complete work orders and ensure the correct raw materials are available at the production line.
  • Monitor machine performance and contribute to departmental KPI achievement.
  • Maintain product quality and compliance with company procedures.
  • Follow all Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and cleanliness standards across the production area.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
  • Undertake additional duties as required to support operational needs.

About You: We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in operating process equipment within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledgeable in Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Technically minded, with an understanding of mechanical or automated production equipment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Organised, methodical and committed to delivering a high standard of work.
