The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is critical to ensuring smooth financial operations and supporting the final stages of recent system migrations. You will work closely with the Accounts Payable Manager and team to maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices using automation software
  • Match invoices to POs and resolve exceptions
  • Manage approvals for non‑PO invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements and query resolution
  • Maintain supplier accounts including compliance checks
  • Prepare payment runs (BACS + international)
  • Work across multiple entities to ensure processes consistent
  • Continuous improvement of AP processes
  • Assist Finance with reporting and data extraction
  • Supporting the Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

What We're Looking For

  • AP experience in multi‑company & multi‑site environments
  • Understanding of automation software (or willingness to learn)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience managing large volumes of work
  • Strong communication skills
  • ERP/AP module competence

About You

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel
  • Able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
