NEC Housing Configuration Specialist (Contract) Rate: £450 per day Duration: 20 weeks Location: Remote IR35:Outside Start: ASAP The role We’re looking for an experienced NEC Housing (cloud) Configuration Specialist to join a multi-disciplinary agile team delivering an NEC implementation for a [local authority / housing association]. You’ll own the solution design and lead the build, configuration and go-live of key modules, working closely with Business Analysts, SMEs and the business to make sure the system is set up to meet real operational needs. This is a hands-on role for someone who knows NEC Housing inside out and can confidently advise the business on the best way forward. Modules in scope * Servicing * Repairs * Contractor Portal * Compliance Management What you’ll deliver * Ownership of the solution design across the in-scope modules * Build and configuration of NEC modules * Testing, plus fixing issues and bugs as they arise * Go-live activities and post go-live support * Support for BAs and SMEs in producing training guides * Knowledge transfer to the BAU support team * Complete technical documentation What you’ll bring * 5+ years’ hands-on NEC Housing (cloud) configuration experience * Recent experience configuring NEC Housing modules for a local authority or housing association * Experience working within a multi-disciplinary agile team * The ability to work with BAs and the business to understand configuration needs, and advise on the best setup to meet them * A strong understanding of the dependencies between modules, and the confidence to flag them so the business can make informed design decisions * Good knowledge of the NEC data schema and experience using data loaders * Experience building reports in NEC using Business Objects or Power BI * A track record of knowledge sharing and handover to BAU support teams
