What You Will Do

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Python
  • Contribute across the stack, including frontend components (Svelte / jQuery)
  • Own features end-to-end, from design and development through deployment
  • Collaborate closely with product, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Bring product thinking into engineering decisions, understanding real user impact
  • Help shape the architecture and long-term evolution of the platform

What You Bring

  • Strong experience building backend systems with Python
  • A strong academic background, many of our engineers are Oxbridge alumni
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, or distributed systems
  • Comfort working across multiple surfaces or parts of a product
