What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Python
- Contribute across the stack, including frontend components (Svelte / jQuery)
- Own features end-to-end, from design and development through deployment
- Collaborate closely with product, QA, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Bring product thinking into engineering decisions, understanding real user impact
- Help shape the architecture and long-term evolution of the platform

What You Bring
- Strong experience building backend systems with Python
- A strong academic background, many of our engineers are Oxbridge alumni
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, or distributed systems
- Comfort working across multiple surfaces or parts of a product
