Haringey are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of a flagship policy change — the 2027/28 Local Council Tax Support scheme — on a statutory deadline. This is a substantive, high-visibility role with real impact on residents.
You'll manage a complex programme spanning public consultation design, scheme modelling, Equality Impact Assessment, Cabinet sign-off and system implementation. Multiple workstreams, multiple stakeholders — one person holding it all together. That person is you.
What you need to bring:
- Proven public-sector project delivery experience, ideally with policy change or statutory consultation.
- Comfortable around senior officers, elected Members and external partners.
- Able to turn complex modelling outputs into clear, decision-ready options.
- Work at pace, stay organised under pressure and leave proper documentation behind.
