Job Description
We\’re on the hunt for a capable, enthusiastic and talented Receptionist to join our team at our Edinburgh site.
Vermilion is a private dental referral clinic offering its patients multi-disciplinary care. No other dental clinic in Scotland brings together orthodontics, periodontology, endodontics, restorative dentistry and oral surgery under one roof. Our team of experts are committed to providing the highest standards of patient care in a relaxing environment.
As a Receptionist your Key Responsibilities will be to:
- Provide a warm welcome to the clinic and accurately check patients in for their appointments.
- Ensure that patient records are completed correctly, scanning and adding information into patient files.
- Answer and direct calls between different departments and screen calls where appropriate.
- Efficiently respond to any patient enquiries via email, whilst delivering excellent customer service.
- Have full knowledge of the treatment pricelist and policies and be able to advise patients if they enquire.
- To understand fully the billing / accounting cycle for patients bills and ensure that their accounts processed meet the required standard.
- Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations as required.
As a Receptionist you should have:
- Experienced in working in a fast-paced reception role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good telephone manner.
- Ability to cope under pressure and work to a high standard.
- Be well presented.
- Experience with dental/medical booking system is advantageous but training will be given.
