We are adding to our clinical team and on the lookout for an enthusiastic and talented Dental Nurse to work in our referral clinic in Edinburgh. Working from 37 hours per week (4 days). We are an award-winning, private dental referral clinic offering its patients multi-disciplinary care. No other dental clinic in Scotland brings together orthodontics, periodontology, endodontics, restorative dentistry and oral surgery under one roof.

Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available.
- Ensure the care and welfare of patients.
- Use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order.
- Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate according to the Clinic's health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers' instructions.
- Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed.
- Handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies.
- Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE.
- Complete laboratory request forms, keep records of work sent, received and fitted.
- Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery.
- Duties include dealing with patients, booking appointments and other administration duties.
Please note that you must have the relevant experience and be GDC registered to be considered for the role.
