Role Overview
Markerstudy Distribution is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Executive Assistant to provide first-class, 1:1 support to senior Directors. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on being proactive, trusted, and one step ahead, acting as a true partner to their Director while working seamlessly across multiple teams. The successful candidate will be exceptional at protecting executive time, managing complex diaries, and anticipating priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted 1:1 Executive Assistant to a Director, providing calm, professional and proactive support.
- Proactively manage and protect the Director's time, ensuring focus on highest value priorities.
- Anticipate needs, flag conflicts early, and suggest solutions before issues arise.
- Serve as an extension of the Director, handling interactions with discretion and confidence.
- Provide expert diary management, coordinating complex internal and external meetings.
- Prioritise requests, challenge when necessary, and ensure agendas and pre-reads are in place.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics and schedules where required.
- Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, internal teams and external partners.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across multiple teams.
- Handle sensitive information with absolute discretion and professionalism.
- Draft, review and manage correspondence on behalf of the Director.
- Work effectively as a team player across multiple functions, supporting collaboration and flow of information.
- Assist with preparation for meetings, presentations, papers and follow-ups.
- Track actions, deadlines and deliverables to ensure commitments are met.
- Support ad-hoc projects and business initiatives as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an EA supporting a senior executive or Director.
- Outstanding diary and time management skills.
- Highly proactive mindset, you anticipate, prioritise and act.
- Confident working independently on a 1:1 basis, while also collaborating across teams.
