We’re looking for an experienced Short Term Insurance Product Owner to take ownership of one of our most dynamic and fast-growing product areas. This is a high-profile opportunity to lead the commercial strategy and trading performance of our short-term car insurance portfolio, working at the heart of a fast paced and ambitious organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Car, you’ll be responsible for driving the product’s commercial agenda, scaling growth, and collaborating across the business to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers and the business alike.
What You’ll Do
- Own and drive the commercial performance of the short-term car insurance product, ensuring delivery of the P&L target.
- Work closely with marketing functions to design and implement multi-channel strategies that support acquisition and retention.
- Lead initiatives to scale direct (non-PCW) growth channels, ensuring sustainable performance.
- Collaborate cross functionally across pricing, underwriting, proposition, and operations to deliver trading excellence.
- Identify new commercial opportunities and product enhancements, building the case for change and securing stakeholder buy in.
- Provide expert insight and direction to support strategic decision making at senior levels.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven product ownership experience in personal lines motor preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of short-term insurance markets and customer dynamics (desirable).
- Demonstrable experience scaling direct to consumer products (non-PCW essential).
