Communications and Events Executive Role Purpose The Communications and Events Executive will provide administrative, event, communications and social impact support to the Colleague Engagement, Social Impact and Events team. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of team activities, maintaining accurate records and budgets, coordinating events and volunteering initiatives, managing communications channels and inboxes, and providing administrative support across engagement, communications and social impact programmes. Providing essential support to all team members across the Engagement, Social Impact and Events team · Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Engagement and Social Impact team - coordinate team meetings, planning sessions and regular team activities. · Support in the organisation of leadership site visits, virtual Townhalls and stakeholder meetings. · Support in the writing of colleague engagement and customer stories. · Publish approved engagement content across internal communications channels including MSGr, TV screens and desktop wallpapers. · Produce and distribute the monthly events email, SLT engagement Pack and Long Service Emails. · Assist with colleague engagement campaigns, competitions and manage the fulfilment of competition prizes, Helping Hands donations and other colleague initiatives such as Summer of Fun, Markerstudy FUNdraiser Week, Christmas Gift of Giving and Christmas Voucher fulfilment. · Support event planning, logistics and administration including attendance at events where necessary including coordinating event invitations and attendee communications and arranging travel and accommodation for event participants and team members. · Support colleague volunteering initiatives and related administration including ordering and distributing volunteering kits and supplies across office locations. · Monitor shared inboxes (Communications, Social Impact and Events) and escalate actions to relevant team members. · Support in the coordination of contracts through legal review and approval processes · From time to time the jobholder may be asked to carry out other/ad hoc activities of a similar level/nature as required. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. · Eagerness to learn and engage in ongoing professional development. · Full UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
