Why this role matters

As Transformation Senior Pricing Analyst, you'll work on developing and enhancing pricing models, monitoring portfolio performance, and delivering innovative pricing solutions that maximise value for both customers and the business. You'll collaborate with peers across Modelling, Optimisation, and Street Pricing teams to ensure cutting-edge approaches meet business objectives. Ultimately, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our pricing capability and ensuring we stay ahead in a fast-moving market.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct retail price optimisation analysis and modelling using advanced techniques.
  • Develop customer propensity and Lifetime Value (LTV) models.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated pricing models with advanced data science techniques using WTW Radar and Emblem.
  • Query and engineer large datasets (e.g., Python/R/SQL/PySpark) on modern platforms (e.g., Azure Databricks).
  • Create innovative data solutions and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Communicate results clearly to key decision-makers to influence pricing strategies.
  • Advance the adoption of statistical and machine-learning methods within pricing, in collaboration with Modelling, Optimisation, and Street Pricing.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in general insurance pricing with strong modelling skills.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as R, Python, PySpark, SAS, or SQL.
  • Good knowledge of Azure Databricks and modern data technologies.
  • Experience with WTW Radar software is preferred.
  • A quantitative degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Actuarial Science.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
