Role Purpose

To lead the end-to-end design of corporate partnership propositions, acting as the bridge between sales, operations, technology, finance and legal. This role is responsible for architecting the customer journey, defining the technical integration, and—crucially—owning the development of the contractual frameworks and commercial schedules that underpin every new partnership.

We are a flexible, hybrid working employer. We do have offices based in Manchester, Peterborough and London where frequent travel to would be expected although the primary role will be out and about seeing clients and partners as and when required.

Proposition Architecture & Solution Design

  • Design the end-to-end user experience for personal lines products (Motor, Home, Pet, etc.)
  • Capture the requirements for API integrations, white-label portals, and data-sharing protocols between Markerstudy Retail and the corporate partner.
  • Validate that our back-office and claims teams can support the volume and service levels promised to provide first-class customer outcomes.
  • Expertise in mapping and improving the "quote and sales journey" and "claims notification" processes to ensure a seamless user experience for both the partner and the end customer.
  • Proposition Design: creating innovative solutions to engage customers and develop propositions suitable for respective target market(s).

Contractual & Commercial Structuring

  • Capturing detailed requirements to ensure quality drafting and negotiation of Commercial Schedules.
  • Commercial Modelling: Contribute to the P&L models for each new deal, defining commission structures, and performance-related penalties/bonuses through collaboration with finance and respective P&L owners.
  • Architect the performance metrics (e.g., Risk & Governance).

Legal Liaison

Act as the primary interface between the Sales team and the Legal/Compliance departments to ensure contracts are executed swiftly without compromising on risk.

Experience in a "fast-paced" or "insurtech" environment is increasingly valued for roles focused on innovative solution design.
