My client is currently recruiting for a Governance Coordinator to join their business, supporting senior leadership and playing a key role in ensuring effective governance across executive-level forums, steering committees, and decision-making bodies. The Role
As Governance Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of governance forums across the organisation. You will take ownership of meeting coordination, documentation, and action tracking, ensuring that key decisions are clearly recorded, communicated, and followed through. You will operate at executive level, acting as a trusted support to senior leaders while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support executive-level governance forums including steering committees and leadership meetings
- Prepare agendas, collate papers, and ensure all materials are distributed in a timely manner
- Accurately capture minutes, decisions, and actions from meetings
- Track and follow up on actions, ensuring accountability and visibility across stakeholders
- Maintain governance documentation in line with internal standards and regulatory expectations
- Ensure meetings run efficiently, with clear structure and effective time management
- Act as a central point of contact for governance-related queries
- Uphold strict confidentiality, data protection, and governance best practice
About You
- Proven experience in a governance, administrative, or minute-taking role
- Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail

- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and challenging where appropriate
- Highly organised, with strong time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience supporting committees, boards, or senior leadership teams is advantageous

- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection, and governance standards
