The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Test Engineer with a real curiosity for how things work. Someone who enjoys bench testing hardware, solving problems, and working with innovative telematics and video devices. You'll play a key role in testing our in-vehicle camera and telematics systems, both in the lab and on the road. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in IoT, embedded systems, and connected vehicle technology.

You'll work closely with our development and QA teams to:

  • Perform bench testing of telematics hardware using DMMs, oscilloscopes, and other test tools.
  • Conduct real-world testing of devices in vehicles.
  • Document and report test results clearly and accurately.
  • Replicate and communicate issues to the development team to help refine and improve our products.

What You'll Need

  • A methodical, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
  • Practical hands-on experience testing or working with electronic hardware (university projects, hobbyist, or commercial experience welcome).
  • Confidence using electronic test equipment (e.g. multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator).
  • Ability to install and remove test equipment in vehicles safely.
  • A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle, as on-road testing is part of the role.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
