As a Direct Marketing Executive, you'll play a key role in the delivery of multi-channel direct marketing campaigns, with a particular focus on email marketing. You'll work closely with experienced marketers, internal teams and external suppliers to plan, set up and deliver campaigns accurately and efficiently. From managing data and email templates through to testing, deployment and performance reporting, you'll help ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard. What You'll Be Doing:
- Planning, setting up, executing and managing end-to-end email marketing campaigns across multiple email platforms
- Managing campaign data uploads, email templates, testing, deployment and scheduling
- Monitoring campaign performance and reporting on key metrics
- Proofreading marketing communications across email, print and digital channels
- Reviewing and approving creative artwork, mailing proofs, campaign packs and enclosures
- Raising and managing purchase orders, including budget allocation and tracking
- Validating data counts and audience selections for campaign targeting
- Managing Jira tickets, approvals and workflow tracking
- Coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to keep campaigns on schedule
- Using campaign performance to help provide insight for future marketing activity
- Ensuring customer marketing communications meet GDPR, FCA, Data Protection Act and Treating Customers Fairly requirements
- Providing general administrative support to ensure effective campaign delivery
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing email marketing campaigns using Acoustic, Dot digital or other email service providers (ESPs)
- Experience delivering email campaigns from set-up and testing through to deployment
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with data and numbers, including checking campaign volumes, counts and lists
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for quality and brand consistency
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop
