We are looking for a Risk Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the organisation’s risk culture, providing strategic counsel to senior leaders and influencing decision making. You will actively engage and support functional areas of the business in maintaining an appropriate and effective approach to Risk Management Frameworks, Methodologies and Practices supporting the organisational objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing constructive support, insight and challenge, promoting active and informed risk-based decisions.
- Engage proactively with risk owners (up to ExCo Level) within business functions to support the assessment and management of risk and control environments.
- Emerging Risk Identification: Collaborating with business stakeholders to surface and assess strategic and emerging risks.
- Deep Dive Risk Analysis: Conducting in-depth assessments of material and critical risks to inform decision-making.
- Incident Resolution: Providing subject matter expertise to resolve high-complexity operational risks with effective control measures.
- Driving Initiatives: Leading corrective actions when risk gaps are identified.
