Supply Chain Manager in Manchester

Supply Chain Manager We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our growing and exciting business! This is a largely remote opportunity, but will involve going to our Manchester office ideally once a month and the occasional travel to suppliers. Job Purpose To oversee the management of key agreed suppliers that form part of the Supply Chain, ensuring service delivery against contracted terms, SLA’s and monthly MI and regulatory reporting. To work closely with the Head of Supply Chain in a cohesive manner to support other MISL departments in liaison of supply chain fulfillment. To act as the key point of contact between suppliers and internal departments for all Property portfolio and other supply chain related matters. Analyse and act on MI provided internally or from our supply chain to improve supplier performance, by issuing action plans, with timescales and required improvement plans. Key Responsibilities Management of Outsource Partner to ensure delivery and oversight of: Risk Management & Documentation Preparation and review of Risk Assessments and COSHH assessments Creating bespoke risk assessments upon requests (e.g. for events) Development and maintenance f Health & Safety policies and procedures DSE (Display Screen Equipment) Management f DSE assessments Provision and ordering of equipment, subject to cost approval Incident Management Accidents and incidents are monitored, recorded, and supported through investigation where required Training & Compliance Liaison with the MSG Talent and development department to ensure annual Health & Safety training is completed Arranging and booking first aid training courses Coordination of First Aiders and Fire Wardens Monitoring, recording and tracking al first aiders and fire wardens to ensure all sites have enough Replenishing f first aid stock Monitoring, Audits & Assessments Site inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring Annual Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety assessments Contractor Management All contractors are managed by Presence & Co. and undergo regular checks to ensure documentation remains valid New contractors are subject to a vetting process and must sign an agreement before approval for use Management f maintenance activities, ensuring suitable RAMS, scope of works, and permits are in place prior to work commencing Facilities Interface The Facilities team manage the buildings, including arranging contractor visits, audits, and statutory checks (E.G fire extinguishers, servicing for fire alarms and so on..) to ensure compliance Systems & Communication Ongoing management and updating of the Health & Safety page of the MSG intranet, ensuring all documentation and guidance is accessible Prvision of Health & Safety signage and general advice across sites Essential Skills Supply chain management experience required Previous Property Portfolio experience would be advantageous Understanding of bent metal suppliers and where they fit in the customer journey Analytical and pragmatic approach to supplier relationship management Excellent communication and people skills Ability to work to tight deadlines The ability to work as part of a team whilst showing initiative Analytical approach to understanding MI, SLA’s, and service failures Excellent Microsoft Office skills being proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Benefits  Starting with 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)  Private Medical Insurance Opportunity for a yearly bonus   Collaborative, fast paced working environment   Modern, vibrant offices  Markerstudy Insurance Services Limited is a UK-based Managing General Agent authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
