We’re looking for a dynamic Product Owner to lead the evolution of our ERP platform, alongside other key IT systems, and drive meaningful change across the organisation. About the Role
As the Product Owner, you’ll take full responsibility for the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring delivery remains aligned with business priorities. You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders and an external development partner to bring new features, enhancements, and integrations to life. Your work will directly support operational excellence and long-term strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Backlog Ownership & Prioritisation: Define, refine, and prioritise backlog items based on business value and strategic goals.
- Requirements & Acceptance Criteria: Produce clear, actionable requirements and act as the single point of accountability for acceptance standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with both internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Quality & Compliance: Validate functionality, ensuring it meets business needs and adheres to security and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Roadmap Management: Build and communicate a transparent roadmap balancing immediate needs with long-term vision.
- System Governance & Vendor Management: Oversee IT platforms, manage vendors, licensing, and system governance.
- Integration & Data Quality: Monitor integrations across CRM, communication, and collaboration tools, ensuring high standards for data hygiene.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in ERP or SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles, backlog management, and sprint planning.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on with delivery.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with Odoo is a strong advantage).
Nice to Have
- Functional or technical Odoo expertise, including module configuration.
- Experience with API integrations and wider ERP ecosystems.
- Understanding of finance, supply chain, or CRM workflows within ERP platforms.
- Basic SQL skills or data analysis capabilities.
- Exposure to change management and user training.
- Experience coordinating with external or offshore development partners.
