This is an exciting opportunity offering the right individual a platform for growth and personal development in a fast moving industry.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle of our video telematics products. In this role, you will combine customer insight, commercial awareness, and technical understanding to drive innovation across our camera, AI, and fleet safety platform offerings. You will work closely with engineering, data science, operations, sales, and customer success to deliver best-in-class solutions that improve driver safety, reduce risk, and deliver actionable intelligence to fleet operators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision
    • Develop and own the product roadmap for our video telematics portfolio—including connected cameras, AI-driven driver monitoring, cloud video platforms, and fleet analytics.
    • Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to define new opportunities and strengthen product–market fit.
    • Define clear, data-driven KPIs and success metrics across product initiatives.
  • Product Development & Delivery
    • Translate customer problems into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Work closely with engineering and hardware teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases of both software and device-based features.
    • Partner with data science to incorporate AI and computer vision capabilities (e.g., ADAS events, driver behaviour detection) into the product.
    • Lead cross-functional sprint planning, prioritisation, and backlog management.
  • Customer & Market Insight
    • Engage directly with fleet customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to validate problems, test prototypes, and gather ongoing feedback.
    • Analyse customer usage data, warranty/failure trends, and product performance to inform product decisions.
    • Champion the voice of the customer across the business.
  • Go-to-Market & Commercialisation
    • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support product launches and create value-led messaging.
    • Build business cases for new features or product lines, including pricing strategy and commercial impact analysis.
    • Train internal teams on new functionality and serve as a product evangelist.
    • Own production of technical documentation.
  • Lifecycle Management
    • Monitor product performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction across hardware and cloud services.
    • Manage end-of-life processes for legacy devices or features.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve margin, and streamline operational processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in video telematics, IoT, fleet management, or connected devices.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cellular and IoT device connectivity
    • Video encoding/streaming
    • Cloud platforms and APIs
    • ADAS/DSM event detection and AI-driven safety systems
  • Ability to balance technical detail with commercial considerations.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with engineers, executives, and customers.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using product analytics tools and customer feedback platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end product lifecycle management.

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with:
    • Computer vision or machine learning products
    • Automotive or fleet safety regulations
    • Hardware device certification and testing
    • International telematics markets
  • Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSPO).

Personal Attributes

  • Customer-obsessed with a passion for solving real-world safety and efficiency challenges.
