Main purpose of job: To provide high quality service to clients in respect of renewal insurance arrangements advising on, arranging and securing appropriate cover for our clients in line with the 10 core service standards.
Verlingue London Market is an established team based in London. The team's goal is to provide insurance solutions for clients and agents, specializing in complex placements involving the Lloyds markets.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintaining relationships and liaising with agents and insurers on a day-to-day basis
- Processing MTAs and administration
- Ensuring all communications, documentation and invoices are issued in a compliant way in line with company policies & procedures.
- Dealing with allocated renewals from start to finish including but not limited to, requesting renewal information, drafting up renewal presentations, passing information over to insurers, referring to department head if needed, chasing and receiving instructions, processing on the system, producing slips and documentation for agreement by underwriters then issuing documentation to the agent in a timely manner.
- Updating records with any changes or information
- Chasing any cover requirements
- Referring any remarketing needs to the allocated broker
- Producing slips, quotes, policy schedules and endorsements as required by the HOD / Broker.
- Keeping files up to date and organized
- Keep your HOD updated on renewal progress regularly
- Logging new business for your broker / HOD
- Actively use the phone to answer and make calls
Compliance / IT:
- Comply with the company's processes, procedures, and broking strategy.
- Ensure all activities comply with FCA regulatory and market standards.
- Ensure work is completed in an effective manner.
- Ensure that IT systems are updated accurately and promptly to facilitate good working practices throughout the company.
- To comply with regulatory requirements, industry codes of practice and the company's own procedures.
