To support all aspects of the company’s operations and IT needs, such as hardware and telephony, actively contributing to the delivery of the company’s operations and IT vision, including digital and non‑digital solutions for customers, providing the right tools to support a mobile workforce, and delivering timely and reliable data to drive effective business decisions.

Verlingue has an established operations team that supports the rapidly expanding business across all UK sites.

The IT team delivers IT helpdesk, softphones, Acturis support, and IT projects.

  • Key Accountabilities – IT Support
  • Support and assist the IT vision of a mobile and flexible workforce.
  • Assist with IT projects and roll‑outs as needed.
  • Assist and monitor the need/requests for new kit, distribute as needed, and maintain an asset register.
  • Basic troubleshooting (Wi‑Fi, VPN, printers).
  • Support standard business software.
  • Use the ticketing system GLPI.
  • Handle first‑line IT support queries and, where possible, resolve them before escalating to Lanix.
  • Act on IT support notifications from HR relating to the addition and removal of employees from group emails.
  • General Responsibilities
  • Develop strong working relationships with external stakeholders including Lanix, Verlingue France, and Acturis.
  • Set up new starters’ IT accounts and equipment.
  • Complete leaver and mover processes.
  • Manage user permissions under supervision.
  • Support Microsoft 365 administration activities under supervision.
  • Monitor mobile phone and data usage.
  • Assist in implementing appropriate IT training and penetration testing.
  • Maintain a high IT awareness (cyber‑security responsibilities such as phishing tests, secure password policies).
  • Support security awareness campaigns.
  • Assist with access reviews.
  • Keep abreast of IT improvements and advances.
  • Carry out additional IT and operations activities as requested.
  • Support IT colleagues in delivering IT induction sessions.
  • Microsoft 365 support – Outlook, One Drive, Share Point, basic administration tasks.
  • Documentation and knowledge management, including maintaining IT procedures and creating knowledge articles.
  • Meeting room technology and support.

  • Safe handling of IT equipment.
  • Follow health & safety and DSE guidelines.
