Our client, an established law firm is seeking an experienced career paralegal to support two very busy partners in Real Estate Finance and Commercial Property. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in this area and be looking for a busy and varied role.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with drawing up Completion Statements – Land Registry fees, Companies House fees, Lawyer Checker, CHAPS and BACs, Winding up searches, Indemnities etc.
- Preparing a basic first draft of Lender’s standard form transaction documents in redline
- Completing Risk Assessment forms
- Ensuring AML/KYC has been completed on each file
- Preparing firm’s standard form client care letters and scope of work
- Ledger reading – monies in, monies out, monies on account
- Filing SDLTs
- Carrying out property searches on Infotrack
- Promptly carry out Companies House and Land Registry registrations
