We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Network Engineer to join our technical team and play a key role in supporting both our internal infrastructure and our growing client base.

The Opportunity

This is not a desk‑bound support role. You will be a trusted technical expert responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and improving critical infrastructure environments. You'll work across networking, cloud services, security, Microsoft technologies and customer projects while helping to shape the future of our managed services offering. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain network infrastructure for internal and customer environments.
  • Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls and wireless solutions.
  • Manage Microsoft 365, Azure and Active Directory environments.
  • Support server infrastructure, virtualisation platforms and cloud services.
  • Monitor and improve network performance, resilience and security.
  • Manage VPNs, remote access solutions and site‑to‑site connectivity.
  • Assist with infrastructure migrations, upgrades and transformation projects.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
  • Provide high‑level technical support and escalation assistance when required.
  • Work alongside vendors, telecommunications providers and technology partners.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching and wireless networking.
  • Experience managing enterprise firewall solutions.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
  • Experience implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Strong customer‑facing communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.

Desirable Skills

  • Cisco CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Fortinet, Meraki, Sophos or similar security platforms.
  • Structured cabling and network deployment experience.
  • Experience working within managed service or multi‑client environments.
  • Telecommunications and VoIP experience.
