Salary: £35-40,000 plus bonus

About Us:

Our client are market leaders in the FMCG food sector who are committed to providing excellent customer service and innovative solutions. They are looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Services / Telesales Team Leader to join their dynamic team and help continue to grow and succeed in delivering top-notch service to their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the Customer Services/Telesales team to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Serve as the communication centre for customers and internal departments related to customer service.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective and efficient operational methods to streamline the department.
  • Communicate promotions to customers and assist in driving telesales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with supply chain to manage stock by notifying stock outs.
  • Train team members on systems and reporting procedures.
  • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer service issues.
  • Handle inbound customer calls and emails, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.
  • Process orders accurately and timely, preparing performance reports as required by the business.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and promote customer engagement and retention.
  • Monitor and update customer pricing, ensuring competitive rates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new customers efficiently and proactively.

Key Deliverables:

  • Achieve team sales and profit targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports for management and sales meetings.
  • Conduct regular team performance reviews and ensure continuous development.
  • Oversee the smooth running of daily operations for Customer Services and Telesales, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced working in a busy office with telesales and customer service activity.
  • Supervisory experience in a customer service/telesales environment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced office setting, ideally within the FMCG sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
