North West – West Midlands Hybrid role £60-£65,000 Basic + Car Allowance + Bonus + Executive Benefits Reporting to the Financial Director, the Commercial Finance Manager role is dual aspect providing FP&A for the business and commercial business partnering to the Sales / Marketing / Supply chain and Senior Leadership Team. This role is critical in ensuring the financial implications of key commercial business decisions are understood, positively influenced and optimised. Financial commercial reporting needs to ensure superb business navigation both backward and forward looking. The Role: * Commercial Finance Business Partnering * Commercial Financial Forecasting * Managing financial reporting * Ensuring consistency of presented information across all meetings/reviews * Process and Controls * Line Management Key Relationships * Finance, Sales, Marketing & Supply Chain * Senior Leadership Team Key Attributes * Proven FP&A and Commercial Business Partnering skills. * Excellent commercial and business awareness and a strong margin mindset is required. * Excellent communication and influencing skills. * An analytical approach to work. * High numeracy and sound technical skills. * Strong attention to detail and a curious nature. * Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise. * The ability to work as part of cross functional teams and to build strong working relationships. Education / Experience * The ideal individual will be CIMA, ACA/ACCA Qualified * Experience of working in the same or similar role in an FMCG environment, is essential. * Degree educated (or equivalent). * Possess a recognised professional qualification from a major UK accountancy body i.e. ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent). * Previous experience of an entrepreneurial business /start up Commercial Finance business partnering would be a positive asset.
