RESPONSIBILITIES – Job Summary

Production Associates manufacture and produce high-density shielding block (Veri Shield) which is used to supply and build cancer treatment centers and non-destructive testing facilities around the world.

This is a production-oriented environment which requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Forklift skills and mechanical aptitude a plus.

Individuals need to be highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic, interested in working in a team environment and committed to quality and safety.

Must have dependable transportation with normal working hours from 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Overtime and weekend work may be required with Manager direction and approval.

  • Time Allocation: ~ 95%
  • Perform tasks involving manual labor required for production of Veri Shield modules (block), which includes lifting items approximately 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of Veri Shield Block Production.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Must be able to keep accurate records of batch sizes and block weights.
  • Experience operating a forklift safely, or willingness to be trained.
  • Experience operating a Front-end Loader a plus.
  • Band, wrap and label pallets; experience operating a hand-held steel banding machine a plus.
  • Able to use a wheelbarrow safely and move materials in the factory and yard.
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Help with daily clean-up of production area, including equipment.
  • Mechanical aptitude a plus.
  • Dependable transportation and regular attendance required.

  • Manufacturing production machinery experience preferred.

  • Must be able to lift and carry/move 50 lbs.

  • Occasionally may be exposed to moderate levels of noise.
