We are recruiting for an experienced Security Project Manager to join our team based in our Poole office. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for a driven project professional with a strong background in the security sector, who is comfortable managing complex projects from inception through to completion.
Overview
You will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of security projects across a range of environments, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget and to the highest operational and compliance standards. This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, clients, suppliers and international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of security projects from initial planning through to final handover
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans
- Coordinate internal teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant security standards, regulations and company policies
- Monitor project progress, identify issues and implement corrective actions where required
- Prepare and present project reports, updates and documentation to senior management and clients
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality, safety and performance standards
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the security industry (essential)
- Strong understanding of security operations, systems and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Confident in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients at all levels
- Proactive, solution-focused and commercially aware
- Comfortable working from an office-based environment
- Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Easy-going, approachable and able to build positive working relationships, fitting comfortably into a close-knit team environment

Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 17:30, with occasional weekend work
