We are looking for a versatile and hands-on Operations Manager to join our team based in our Poole office. This is a full-time, permanent role suited to someone who thrives in a varied position, enjoys getting involved across the business and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.
While overseeing day-to-day operations, you will also support broader business functions, including recruitment, team coordination and travel planning, playing a key role in keeping the organisation running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and support day-to-day operational delivery of security services and projects
- Coordinate teams, schedules and resources to support operational requirements
- Support recruitment, onboarding and vetting processes
- Arrange and manage travel logistics for operational teams and management, both UK and international
- Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain accurate operational records, documentation and reports
- Work closely with the teams to support business needs
- Assist with planning, mobilisation and administration
- Experience in an operational role (essential) within the security industry (beneficial, but not mandatory)
- Comfortable working in a varied, hands-on role with changing priorities
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
- Easy-going, approachable and able to fit in well within a close-knit team environment
- Proactive, adaptable and willing to get involved wherever needed
