Part-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant Required - Carnforth
Starting Immediately | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 12:30pm
Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Carnforth. This is a part-time position starting immediately, providing support to pupils across Key Stage 2 during the morning sessions.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of English and Maths at KS2 level and be confident supporting pupils with their learning, both independently and in small groups.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across KS2
- Working with small groups and individual pupils
- Delivering targeted English and Maths interventions
- Helping pupils to stay engaged and make progress
- Assisting the class teacher with classroom activities and preparation
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with primary-aged children
- Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly English and Maths
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and nurturing approach
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential
